ISS: Expedition 75

Expedition 75 began with undocking of Soyuz MS-28 on July 26, 2026.

On August 06, 2026 Jessica Meir and Anil Menon performed the first spacewalk in Expedition 75 (6h 27m). They exited the Quest airlock to install hardware that will modify the station's 3B power channel and prepare it for the future installation of an International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array (IROSA). The solar array, scheduled for delivery later this year, will be the seventh IROSA and will provide additional power to support critical station operations, including its safe and controlled deorbit.
Toward the end of the spacewalk, a carbon dioxide sensor on Menon's spacesuit indicated an unexpected data reading. Anil Menon reported no other issues during the spacewalk.
Although the sensor returned to normal readings following removal of the suit, engineers on the ground will continue to evaluate over the coming days whether to change suits for the next spacewalk. As a result, NASA moved the next spacewalk to replace a Space-to-Ground antenna on the space station to August 18, 2026.
