MOL-3. He graduated from the University of Kentucky
with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. During his 26-year
USAF
career, he was a tactical fighter pilot, an experimental test pilot, and an
aerospace development engineer. He was stationed at many bases in the United
States and deployed to many foreign countries. Hull's last Air Force tour of
duty was as commander of the 6595th Shuttle Test Group, where he oversaw the
construction, development and testing of the
USAF
Space and Missile Test program (deactivated in 1979). After his retirement from
the US Air Force in 1982, he began an 11-year career at Rockwell International
Missile Systems Division in Duluth, Ga., where he was a manager of research and
development. |
