Colonel, USAF, Ret. Candidate for MOL-2 and MOL-3. He graduated from the West Point Academy in 1954 and holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. He was a member of the Class 65B student test pilots at Test Pilot School, Edwards AFB, California, graduating in 1966. In 1974 Col. Devereaux became the new Test Forces Director at Edwards AFB. He has also served as Director of Operations and Vice Commander of the U.S. Air Force's Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tennessee.
